Orders £30 and over will qualify for free delivery. This will generally be through Royal Mail, however we may choose to use a courier service depending on the goods and weight. We cannot guarantee next day delivery, please choose FedEx Next Day Delivery if you need the item(s) quick.
- Orders over £150 will be sent via Next Day shipping free of charge.
- - Any orders over 25kg will incur extra charges.
If you require delivery to anywhere not listed above please contact us for a price.
All orders shipped with Fed-Ex Courier will be delivered during business hours, Monday to Friday. All next day delivery orders must be placed before 12pm (Monday to Thursday) to be guaranteed next day. If an order is placed after 12pm it will be dispatched the following day. Any orders placed between 12pm Thursday and 12pm Friday, will be dispatched Friday for delivery on Monday. Any orders placed after 12pm Friday will be dispatched the following Monday. Fed-Ex require a signature for every parcel delivered so it is essential that someone is at the shipping address to receive the parcel. If you wish to have your order shipped to an address that is different to your billing address, please set up an additional shipping address when placing your order.
If you have special instructions for delivery that might help avoid a missed delivery (i.e please leave in wheelie bin etc) then please include when placing your order and we will endeavour to have that information transferred to our delivery partners. Please note: this only applies to Fed-Ex deliveries; unfortunately we cannot put delivery instructions on Royal Mail deliveries. Providing an alternative phone number, e.g. mobile number, is one way to help ensure a first-time delivery success.
We aim to have all orders shipped within 1-3 working days, provided all items are in stock.
Returns & Refunds
Please make sure that you check your items carefully before they are used. We also recommend that you keep your receipt or order number, which can be found on your order confirmation or on the delivery packaging, as you might need it as proof of purchase in the event of any after-sales queries.
If you have ordered by telephone or internet, under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have a statutory right to cancel your order and receive a full refund for any item delivered to you by Ruddocks of Lincoln (excluding those ordered in-store). This does not apply to items personalised or made to your specification; audio/video recordings or software that you have unsealed; items that due to their nature cannot be returned; perishable goods (e.g. magazines).
To cancel please call us on 01522 528285 within seven working days (so not including Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays) commencing the day after the day of delivery of your item(s), quoting your order number.
If you find a product unsuitable please contact us as problems can often be resolved without incurring unnecessary postal charges.
If however, it is deemed necessary to return an item for exchange or refund, please note the following:-
- Goods returned must be in original packaging, with all labels still attached.
- Goods must be returned within seven working days of receipt.
- Goods must have accompanying receipt and note of reason for return.
- Any damaged or mal-functioning items must be highlighted to us within 7 days. Please call us on 01522 528285.
- Any other shortages/errors found regarding your order must also be highlighted to us within 7 days.
- Costs incurred in posting the returned item are not refundable. Except in circumstances where the product(s) were damaged or faulty.

Please package the relevant item securely and send it to us with the packing note so that we receive it within 7 working days of the date you rang us to cancel.
For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service or get proof of postage.
Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty.
As soon as we receive the returned item(s), we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item(s).
Refunds for goods purchased under a promotional offer will be based on the terms of the promotional price.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
